MY science journey 2021 awapuni school

Reflection of my science journey My boat creation it was exciting and it was really challenging at the end me and tyran wanted to create a different boat and i wanted to break the boat but at the end we got through and we didn't give up at all because we were resilient and we finished are boat on time.
are colour of are boat was red and black we painted it it looked way better in the paint then it looked without the paint.

I found It easy to paint and work together as a team i not to give up.

I found it hard to glue all of the stuff on to the boat because half of the stuff i glued came off straight away. 

I found it challenging to make my boat and trying to put all of the decareaction on the boat.

next time i will  finish my boat earlie at the right time.

Reacount

 

Today in writing we were writing a recount about a moment in time i write about having mcdonalds.

It was easy using describing words and having rich language  in my writing and it was easy planning my story and writing my story about mcdonalds.

It was hard thinking about a moment in time to write about because there are so many moments in time to write about and it was hard to spell some words that i didn't know how to spell. 

Next time in writing i would try not to get distracted easily and try to finish my work on time and to try and add more paragraphs to my writing. 

science magnet car

 We were learning about magnite cars and electronic  so today we made a magnite car me and my buddies and it was really fun because we drove down a mountain and on the ground it was really fast it went about 20 km per hour and it was fun it was the best thing in science by far.

I found it easy to create my mcknight car and i found it easy to cooperate with my group.

I found it hard to write facts  on my book about the magnite car.

Next time i will not talk heaps with my group.

brain box

My blog post is about the brain box i did  me and my group had to create something with it we created something but we didn't have the right pieces so we had to redo it over and over again until we saw different group with the right peacuses but the thing we created was a robot with a fan on it.

I found it easy help my group mates out and i found it easy coupprait with my group evan when we had to restart a creation.

I found it hard to create a robot with a fan but my buddys helped me out.

Next time i will finish my  creation on the right time and try not to talk as much as i did.

100 Te Reo Maori kupu quiz

 

today at school we did this quiz  that has 100 questions about maori words and te reo words and i scored 45 i should of tried way harder then that but next time i will.

I found it easy to get 45 questions right and to read the questions.

I found it hard to answer the rest of the words  because it was hard trying to understand those tricky ones.

next time i will take my time and to try way more harder then i didi 

100 meter sprint

 

i was learning about  being at the olympics doing a 100 meter sprint.

it was easy using adverbs and rich language to describe my writing and it was easy memorising the story i made up about the 100 meter sprint.

it was hard trying to use different language and describing words and trying to make my story more realistic and it was hard trying to figure out more interesting words to keep the read a wake and trying to make my story good so the reader could get a clear memory of my story. 

Next time i will make my writing more interesting and moe describing so the person who reads my writing  has a clear mindset of my story.

fantasy creature

 what i learned about  fantasy creatures is that it could have any power and it could be anything combined its all about your imagination. 

what i found easy was drawing my creature but i gave it all my best and it was easy  writing m plan about my creature and what kind of powers and what kind of weakness and  i found that really easy because it describe that really good and drawing my creature was fun and it turned out to look like a chunky big bird with a hat.

what i found it hard it wa shard writing my story of my creature because i had to use my imagination  and i had to think of it it wa shard writing and writing because it just gets boring but then i started to add more describing and more descriptive language so my  writing doesn't get boring.

what i enjoyed the most was writing because i liked making my own story up and i reckon i added heaps of rich and good words just maybe add more and i liked playing because it was interesting and because it was my best plan i have ever done.

Next time i do this i will add more detail to my writien a little bit and add more good rich language to my planing so it doesn't be boring so when people read it they go to sleep and add more  stuff on to my drawing.

Science

 Science We were learning about lentronick and electric . What is a circuit? What do you predict we are wanting to achieve today?

Today we are working with electric and power we were trying to connect stuff such as lemons and others to see or to make eltri in it.

when me and my group try to connect are project it wouldn't work because we didn't have the right peacers and the right stuff so we had to make are project aver again and we had to make it in 10 or 5 minutes but we got it done.

I really really liked challenging my self trying new things such as connects and making electric stuff but i gave it a good try but it was really annoying at first but really fun .

Olympics Acrostic Poem

 

For the past 3 or 2 days we have been learning about the  tokyo olympics and today we write a acrostic poem about the 2020 tokyo olympics and we have done enquiry about the tokyo olympics now it is time to put or that knowledge into this peace of written.

i thought this task was easy because written the acrostic poem was easy and creating the background and the stuff was easy but it was really really fun but the easiest thing to do was adding all the bright colours and written about the olympics.

The hardest thing to do was to think of all the words exspeely the  o's but the hardest hardest thing was written it.

next time will add more bright more colorful stuff and make my word more quality.

Olympics Values Medals

 

 me and my class have been learning about the values of the Olympics that are  respect friendship excellent  and resilient .I done this poly line because i like medals and because they are really really interesting and the medals represent the Olympics the medals are 1st 2 and 3rd  and some of my friends in my  group helped me do this poly line.

I think i did great with the colors and the medals they don't look the best but in my opinion there the best i worked hard to poly line and i think that they turned out amazing  and the red ribbon on the medals look cool and they fit great on the medals but i could of add more stuff but i will do that later but overall my medals i created they are really really excellent.

It was pretty challenging getting the ribbon around the medal because i had to make it on a angle and it took a while and the color of the medals it took a pretty long time trying to find the perfect color for the medals especially  the bronze and gold the silver was easy to find but those other two colors were pretty hard to find.

I enjoyed creating my medals it was fun and funny because it was fun from doing all my work so this was nice to call down from something not hard but i enjoyed it because it is  poly lining and because it is easy and sometimes hard.

Another time i do this i will add way more detail in my medals and make sure my medals look more  realistic   and make my ribbon more detailed and way cooler so it stands out. 

So what could i change about my stems or my polyline?

m&m stacking

i enjoyed it because it wad hard and very very annoying and it got me off my chair.

i didn't like because it was annoying because it keeps on falling down and i was getting really angry

next time i will add more rich words and more adjectives.

Emergency kit

Were learning about flood and where about floods were there in new zealand .

I found it easy to polyline the torch and the med kit and i found it easy to complete my must do' befor doing my kit with or the stuff in it.

I found it hard to polyline my bottle otr my drink bottle if you want to call but the bottle 9i polylined i was hard because i had to use curve and it was hard and it ended up not like a drink bottle 

Next time i will add more detail and more stuff that are in a med kit.

Cold Air Ballons

 Cold Air Ballons 

You will need 

vinegar

bottle

 ballon

measuring cup

Tablespoon

use the funnel and add a tablespoon or two of baking soda into the ballon.wipe  any baking soda from the funnel and place it into the bottle pour about half a cup of vinegar into the bottle fit the ballon over the opening of the bottle making sure no baking soda falls inside.now lift the ballons and let baking soda fall and mix with the vinegar.

We were learning about cold air ballons 

I found it easy to listen to the teacher and respect the staff and i found it easy to hear the instructions.

Next time i will add more key information to my stems.

Balloons Rocket

Balloons Rocket

How it works  our rocket blast ballon  de monsters newtons third low of motion  for every action  there is aucal and opposite  reaction  when  we release  the balloon  the pressurized air in the ballon pushes  against the air around the ballon sending it in the opposite direction down the string.

Were learning about laws of motion.

I enjoyed seeing my balloon fail and just making a fart noise that was funny.

I disliked waiting  a long time to do the balloons Rocket.

Next time i could add more intelligent words and next time i will add more information about balloon rockets.

Should you Be Prepared For A Natural Disaster

 

we Were learning about not all to be should be prepared for a natural disaster and i choose yes you should always be prepared.

I enjoyed adding describing and emotive words for my work and i enjoyed  recrafing and seeing  my master peace when it was done.

I Did Not enjoyed  because i had to make it a master peace and i didnt like  putting my writing on different slides.

Next time i will add more interesting words  and add more on my conclusion.

Milk explosion

 

Milk explosion  what happened milk is mostly water but it also contains vitamins minerals and others stuff  and it contains fat and heaps of protein the secret of bursting the colours is just stir it softly and do little stir  and dont go straight in cause it wont look good.

I learned how to make a milk espolshie .

it was because it was my first every time making one of those.

I found it hard to mix the co,ours i dont no why

Bath Bomb

 you have heard the words acids and alkaline

what do you think would happen when you mix an alkaline and acid together.

;ets look at 2020 science elective groups findings when food science now lets explore

bath bombs so fun to create and there cool water and baking soda and citric acid makes and reaction.

I learnt how to make a bath bomb and the meanings,

I enjoyed making the cool bath bomb and it was amazing in my own bath at home.

IT was hard because i didn't know how to make one and because i didn't know what it was.

Lava Lamp

 In Science we learnt about lava lamp Ingredients

.food colouring

.aspirin

describe the task this activity was amazing  and hell it got created and it was brilentint so much words you can describe this intelligent task.

what happened water and oil do not mix and then you put in aspirin then it starts to fizz then it make little balls the you flash a torch at the lava lamp so it heats up.

explain why oil and water and water it lighter then you add food colouring and when added destiny the lava lamp  starting to fizz then these little circes balls were coming up and down and those aspirds were making those balls.

we were learning about lava lamps in Hell they get created and know the ingredients.

i found it easy to  create my lava lamp and how to make it with the ingredients such as oil water food colouring and aspirin.

i found it hard to write and describe the lava lamps and i found it hard to  remember all the ingredients.

Next time i should is to add more quality writing about lava lamps   
 

Camp kaitawa

 

 We were learning about reflections for camp.

I enjoyed writing the things that I like about camp and I enjoyed  creating my cool animation.

I found it hard to polyline my animation and to think of all the cool and amazing things I did at camp kaitawa.

Next time i will maybe add more rich  describing  beautiful words.

Horouta Anamtion

 

• We were learning about the Horouta waka.

• I found it easy to create my amazing Horouta google slide it was really fun and i enjoyed polylining the waka.

• I found it challenging to polyline the waka and polyline the sea clouds and other stuff.

• Next time I will add more detail and add way more things in the slide.

PB4L Logo

 

what  we learn  about we learned how to use audio moit  and what a logo is the topic is PB4L its about PB4l and that's the topic for a school this term positive attitude for learning that's what it means. 

i enjoyed creating my cool logo and i enjoyed hearing my voice and making it.

i didn't like  the topic because its pretty hard to make a logo about PB4l but it was still really fun.

nex time i will add more detail and to make it way way more creative and maybe thye teachers could change the topic nex time.

Triathlon

 

we were learning about the triathlon and how to use describing words and rich language such as adjectives, nouns, verbs and adverbs.

i found it easy to describe my writing and using rich words.

i found it hard  to think about all the words that i could use and i found it hard to remember all the staff that i did at the triathlon.

next time i could  use more rich words and describing words and to use commies and full stops.

Sunflower

We were learning about sunflowers and how to personify  a sunflower and we were learning about sunflower poems.

I found it easy to write and describe my piece of writing and it was easy   to think of my writing  about sunflower and i liked describing my poem about sunflowers .

I found it hard to describe a sunflower because  its not a thing that I know about and I found hard because these not much describing words to describe the sunflower that I know of.

Next time i will add more rich describing words instead of boring words .
